Our Returns Policy

To receive your choice of either a full refund or store credit for items returned, returned products must follow the instructions shown below.

  1. 30-Day Limit: To qualify for a refund, products must be returned to us within 30 days from the shipping date shown on the sales receipt.
  2. New Condition: To qualify for a refund, products must be returned to us in new condition. We are not responsible for any damage that might occur in shipping the returned items back to us so please make sure to adequately pack the merchandise being returned to us. No refunds are given for merchandise returned in unsalable condition. This includes merchandise damaged in transit. For smaller packages we have found the UP Postal Service to be reliable and economical. However, for packages weighing more than 5 pounds we recommend shipping it with insurance and shipping through UPS or FedEx, not through the US Postal Service. Please remove or mark through the original shipping label.

No Partial Kits Allowed:

We do not accept partial returns of kits or mega-kits. To return a kit or mega-kit, all items in the kit or mega-kit must be returned. The reason is because extra price discounts are given on kits and mega-kits. Therefore the items in the kit or mega-kit were not purchased at their normal retail prices. We accept returns only on the complete kit or mega-kit.

No Opened Packages:

For packaged items, no refunds are available if the package has been opened. This is not referring to the shipping box, only to items packed in their own separate package. Packaged items include toys, games, crafts, puzzles, hobby items, science kits, DVD's and software. We will accept returns for opened packaged items if they are defective or are causing technical problems. For technical software problems, we will need a full explanation of the nature of the problem. We might also require you to contact the publisher’s support team to resolve the problem.

Include Your Name, Address, and Order Number - To qualify for a refund, don't forget to include your name, address, order number, and a brief explanation of the reason for the return. If possible please make a copy of your sales receipt and send that with the returned items.

Defective Items:

If you received a defective item from us, we will replace it at our expense and we will cover the shipping costs for the replacement item. In most cases we will schedule a carrier to pick up the defective item. If the item you received was not the item you ordered, we will immediately ship the correct item to you at no cost to you. We will send you an email with a printable shipping label and will schedule a carrier to pick up the wrong item to have it returned to us at our expense. For further assistance with your return, please contact our customer service department.

Refunds and Store Credits:

In most cases we give you the choice of either a refund or store credits. Store credits may be applied to the purchase of any other items in our store.

The amount of the refund or store credit will equal the amount paid for the item(s) minus any shipping costs. There are no restocking fees for any returned items, however the cost for shipping the item to you or back to us is not refundable.

  1. If you are returning an item that was shipped for free as part of a free shipping offer, the shipping costs for the returned items will be calculated and subtracted from the amount refunded or credited to you.
  2. If you paid for your order by credit card, your refund will be issued as a credit to your card account. If you paid for your order by check or money order, your refund will be issued in the form of a check payable to you.
  3. Refunds are usually processed within one week from the time that we receive the returned items.
